Lys discovered a love for comics and games early on and has made sure that she is involved with them as much as possible ever since. Lys started working in a hobby store at eighteen. A few year later, she joined Diamond Comics Distribution as a customer service representative where quickly worked her way up to the title of West Coast Customer Service Manager. Soon after she was promoted to Buyer where she gained experince in many industries from gaming to apparel. After leaving Diamond, Lys put her skills to work for companies including Guardians of Order and Precedence Entertainment. In August of 2000, Lys struck out on her own with the creation of Sphinx Group, a sales and marketing firm for entertainment related companies.
