About this book: Gunfights! Kung fu! Monsters! If Hammer Films had hired a band of Hong Kong filmmakers to create a Spaghetti Western, they’d have created HELLDORADO! An unspeakable act of violence has altered reality itself, and a supernatural evil looms over the town of El Dorado. The most horrific myths of the Far East threaten to engulf the American West in darkness, and the only thing standing between a vengeful Chinese vampire, its army of undead minions, and the end of humankind is an unlikely band of erstwhile heroes: an heiress, a gambler, an aging sheriff, his deputy, and a warriorpriest. Horror, fantasy, kung fu, and Western action combine in this bizarre genre mash-up.

Nice cover on HELLDORADO-I liked it even more when it was the movie poster to THE SHOOTIST…good to see more horror western comics coming along after my own WICKED WEST books came and went with little notice- there’s hope yet-good luck…;o)
I haven’t been to Ape’s website in awhile but I did buy Helldorado and happened to run across your Wicked West comment.I may have these as well, but the majority of my collection is at another location so I can’t doublecheck right now.Could you e-mail a general description of the series, please? Also as a suggestion maybe a site dedicated to Western themed comics or a blog on one of the existing sites to pull together all Western themed comics because there seems to be more of them from Desperados,to the revivals of Lone Ranger and Zorro, and modern westerns like Six Guns.Reviews and interviews and that sort of thing.Maybe that would help the visibility of this genre.
