Hey Gang, we have something cool to show you guys today! On Saturday March 10, 2012 one of Ape’s youngest writers had her first store signing and from what we heard it was “Berry” successful for everyone! Nine-year-old comic book writer Meredith Lissau along with her co-writer father Russell Lissau had amazing eventy sign copies of her new story in Ape Entertainment’s Strawberry Shortcake Digest #1 at Dreamland Comics in Libertyville, Illinois. This issue sports a cover that was digitally recolored by JAMES NELMS. Nelms also designed and supplied the cover art for the CUT THE ROPE digital comic book.
The cover for Classics #7 was originally the cover for Richie Rich Success Stories #3. We take great care when we digitally recolor these classic works to represent the feeling and the charm of the original work, but at the same time change it up a bit and give long time collectors a new look at an old favorite.
